For the next entry in our #whatinyourtourbagseries, we asked David Kennedy to explain to us what he takes on the road with him:
Ive come to realize that where I seem to travel, I generally always have access to simple necessities and there's no real need to overpack. My goal is to be able to fit everything into a backpack or preferably what I have in this pic, a bell helmet, helmet bag. So this is what I've reduced my life down to while traveling ... 3 pairs of underwear,3 pairs of socks, 1 pair of jeans... 1 pair of swim trunks (they can double as work out shorts), a pair of Macbeths (I can walk around, go to the gym or if need be actually play a show in them).
I've been quite obsessed with coffee so I have a hand grinder and not just because I'm self promoting James Coffee, but, yeah, maybe I am a little...There happens to be a bag of James Coffee, and despite what it looks like, it is a way to extract a quick and clean cup of coffee, it's called and "aero press" . There is a journal.. not so much for me to write about my daily experiences, but sometimes to draw quick sketches of furniture or reminders... Just notes, I guess. A baby Taylor guitar in long journeys is pretty necessary and compact enough there's no drama in a plane. Oh, and I almost forgot my phone...my phone is pretty key... it would be in the photo, but I had to use it to take the photo.
Anyway, this is it for the most part ... minus some toiletries:)
