The Hiatus takes inspiration from our original Eliot silhouette but strips it back into something sleeker — a low-profile build with a durable canvas/twill upper and metal eyelet lace-up closure that gives it just enough edge without trying too hard. It's minimal, but it's still unmistakably Macbeth: born out of Southern California's music scene, made for people who live in their shoes, not just look at them.
Style that doesn't cost the planet
Under the hood (or, well, the sole), the Hiatus is running on our BLOOM™ algae-based foam — a rubber outsole infused with material made from harvested algae blooms instead of virgin petroleum. Every step you take literally helps pull algae out of waterways. And the whole shoe is PETA-approved vegan construction, so there's zero animal product anywhere in the build. Cute and cruelty-free — no compromise required.
The fit
The Hiatus runs true to size — if you're between sizes or planning to wear it with thicker socks, we'd suggest sizing up half a size for the most comfortable fit.
